About This
- PREMIUM COD FILLETS:- Relish the savory flavor of our flawlessly prepared uncooked cod fillets. Juicy on the inside and with a crunchy bite. Our Fresh brand products are all about high-quality food that fits every budget, every day.
- PREPARATION:- To prepare the cod, just soak it in lukewarm or cold water for 60 minutes and cook. We've found that although great with only a 60 minute soak, some pieces may need a little more time to rehydrate completely. We recommend to rehydrate fillets until they look like store-bought pieces.
- EASY TO COOK:- These fillets are perfect for grilling or frying. They also can be cooked in a sauté pan and finished in the oven, or even broiled. It is completely up to you how you want to prepare them - the possibilities are endless. Once rehydrated, they look just like cod fillets you would get at your grocer's deli.
- CONVENIENT STORAGE & COOKING:- These are perfect for storing and using for many years! You can have great tasting food in seconds with no mess and no waste - and it doesn't matter if the power goes out!! You can open just one can at a time and in 60 minutes cook one or as many of these as you want however you would cook any other fresh seafood!!! Perfect for camping, boating, traveling, or at the cabin.
- SHELF LIFE:- You can expect 25+ years shelf life as long as the shrimp is sealed in the can - and probably as many as 30 to 40 since there is no water or oxygen in the can to spoil them!!! Once opened they will last: Upto 1 year in a Zip Lock bag with refrigeration once opened but not re-hydrated, Upto 60 days in a zip lock bag without refrigeration once opened, but not re-hydrated, Upto 5 days in the fridge once they are re-hydrated.
- RAW, UNCOOKED & VERSATILE:- These fillets come uncooked and ready for your own preparation. Simply rehydrate using warm water and cook them your way — grill, fry, bake, or use in stews, soups, and survival meals.
- PERFECT FOR OUTDOOR ADVENTURES:- Whether you're hiking the backcountry, car camping, or exploring remote terrain, these lightweight, shelf-stable fillets are a convenient, high-protein food source with zero refrigeration needed.
- MILITARY SURPLUS QUALITY ASSURANCE:- Sourced from trusted military surplus supplies — known for their durability, reliability, and rigorous standards. You get tried-and-true survival food originally intended for long-term storage and crisis use.
- COMPACT & STACKABLE STORAGE:- #10 cans are easy to stack and store in basements, emergency closets, or RVs. Ideal for preppers building a deep pantry or families looking to maintain a backup food reserve.
- CLEAN INGREDIENTS:- No Preservatives: 100% cod — nothing else. No MSG, no artificial flavors, no added water or filler. Just pure, clean protein you can trust.
